Shoneji Loraine

SHONEJI LORAINE hails from the sunny state of Florida and is a graduate of Florida A&M University. Before relocating to the west coast, her theatrical background was musical theater where she starred in productions of “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Godspell”.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Shoneji made her debut as the luscious ‘Lala’ in the Don B. Welch dramedy, "The Bachelor Party". She had the wonderful opportunity to work with Mr. Welch again as the hilarious ‘Keisha’ in his follow- up hit, "The Bachelorette Party" -- co-produced by megastar Will Smith. “The Bachelorette Party” took L.A. by storm, running for 2 years, making a 17 city tour and receiving an NAACP Theater Award nomination! Shoneji also toured and performed behind the very talented Vanessa Bell Calloway as Eva Owens in another Welch hit, "The Divorce".

Despite touring with these fantastic stage productions, Shoneji has managed to co-star on FX's “The Shield” and the C/W's “Everybody Hates Chris”. She also starred in the short films “Happy Anniversary Punk!” (directed by Michael Ajakwe Jr.) and “The State of Grace” (directed by Ron Mayes). Both of these shorts have racked up awards on the film festival circuits.

Shoneji recently finished a wonderful stage run as ‘Lady in Blue’ in the classic “For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf” while simultaneously shooting an independent film, “Perfect Combination”, produced by Tri Destined Studios.

Shoneji believes in ALWAYS being prepared and is always looking forward to the next project. She is confident that her newest character in the web series “Who…” will be an web sensation!

Nafeesa Monroe

Nafeesa made her acting debut with the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre at age 9. She's starred in the features “A State of Mind,” “The Truth, The Pain, The Sacrifice” and the short film “Unwelcome,” (Best Actress nomination). She’s co-starred on television shows like “Martin,” “Jamie Foxx Show,” and recurred on “The Bold and The Beautiful.” Los Angeles theatre highlights include an award winning performance in “For The Love Of Freedom,” Michael Ajakwe’s “Company Policy,” and Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare Company’s “As You Like It.” On Off-Off Broadway Nafeesa originated the role of ‘Sheyla Duvall’ in John Mailer’s “Hello Herman.” Also a successful international spoken word artist, she has opened for Jewel and appeared on HBO’s Def Poetry.








Charles Reese

CHARLES REESE (Jalel) is a Washington D. C native who received his Bachelor’s Degree from Morehouse College. Charles has numerous, television, film and theatre credits including the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play “James Baldwin: A Soul on Fire” by the late playwright Howard B. Simon (5 New York AUDELCO Award Nominations). David DeWitt of the New York Times declared,“A Soul on Fire is funny, thrilling and wise buoyed by the passionate performance of Charles Reese in the title role. Reese has vehicle worthy of his performance.”
